Recipe: Paint Creek Trail


  • 2 ounces Apple Country Spirits 2 Year Aged Applejack

  • 3/4 fresh lemon juice

  • 3/4 ounces simple syrup

  • 1 ounce (2 tbsp.) pear or apple butter

  • 2 ounces Rootstock Dry Cider

  • 2 dashes Fee Brother’s Old Fashioned Aromatic Bitters

  • 1/2 cup Apple Country Spirits Plum Brandy

  • Apple slices


  1. Measure the Applejack, lemon juice, simple syrup and pear butter into a cocktail shaker

  2. Fill the shaker with ice, cap and shake vigorously

  3. Strain over ice into a pilsner glass

  4. Top with cider and dash the bitters onto the top of drink

  5. Garnish with apple slices

  6. Enjoy!
