June 8, 2020, Williamson, NY – Apple Country Spirits, a local distillery, and Rootstock Ciderworks, a cidery, have announced that they will market and sell their products under the new brand name Rootstock Cider and Spirits. Owned and operated by the DeFisher family out of Williamson, NY, both businesses have made a name for themselves as creators of premium-quality, award-winning craft ciders, and spirits.

“While both businesses were owned by the family, we knew it was time for us to merge the brands to create a simpler, more impactful experience for our customers,” says Luke DeFisher, family member and employee. “We’ve seen tremendous growth and support from the local community, and this merger will allow us to deliver an even better experience.”

The newly formed Rootstock Cider and Spirits will continue to operate out of the family-run and -operated DeFisher Farms Tasting Room, located at 3724 Eddy Road in Williamson, NY. Visitors to the tasting room can purchase products, merchandise, and drinks while enjoying scenic views of the orchard from the outdoor patio.
